Please be aware that due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all aspects of this race are extremely subject to change.
COVID-19 has changed many things about our events. The following procedures will be in effect for this event:
Prior to the race you will receive details on exact procedures for this event.
This race will start and finish near 108th Street inside Riverside Park. You’ll wind through tree-lined paths and waterfront walkways on this totally traffic-free and peaceful course. The course is challenging, but offers plenty of downhills to make up for the uphills!
We will start the race in multiple socially distant waves, beginning as early as 7 AM and ending at noon. Your wave will be pre-determined and may not be changed. We cannot advise you of exact wave time until the week of the race. Please arrive no more than 30 minutes prior to your wave to avoid crowding on the race site.
Bag check will be provided. To reduce interaction with staff, we encourage you to avoid checking a bag. If you plan on checking a bag, you must use the single clear bag provided by NYCRUNS. You may not put another full bag/backpack/briefcase inside the clear bag. All items must fit inside the clear bag. NYCRUNS reserves the right to search your bag at any time.
Toilets will be provided and cleaned throughout the event.
Water at the finish will be delivered in a goodie bag along with gatorade, Dole Fruit Bowls in 100% Juice and other snacks.
The giveaway for this race will be a cocoa mug. Free finish line photos and video will be available on your results page within a week of the race.
There is an optional shirt available for purchase, but you must purchase it as part of your registration. This shirt will not be for sale on race day.
There will be no pre-race or race day pickup for this event. Bib mailing is the only way to get your bib for this race and is included in the cost of registration. You must have your bib in hand to enter the race site.
Please make sure the shipping address provided at the time of registration will be valid when bibs are shipped, 2-4 weeks before the race.
