Awards are given to the top three (3) overall finishers by gun time in each gender division (Male, Female, and Nonbinary/Gender Nonconforming). Awards are also given to the top 3 finishers by age group in each gender division, by net/chip time.
Age group award categories are as follows:
Half Marathon: Age group awards will be made available to the top three male, female, and non-binary finishers in each of the following age groups: 19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80 and over.
10K & 10 Miler: Age group awards will be made available to the top three male, female, and non-binary finishers in each of the following age groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 and over.
5K: Age group awards will be made available to the top three male, female, and non-binary finishers in each of the following age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 and over.
Online results are scored to the second.
A preliminary results email will be sent to all participants within a reasonable amount of time following each race. The preliminary results will also be uploaded to the Results page of our website.

After the results of a race have been finalized, award winners will be notified of their eligibility via email (usually within two weeks following the race). Award winners will fill out a form with the option of receiving a customized award or opting not to have it produced. Award winners who choose to have their award produced must provide an address to have it sent to. Awards will be mailed within the U.S. for no charge. To have an award mailed to an international address, the cost is $40.
All attempts will be made to ship awards in a timely manner but please note NYCRUNS cannot guarantee a date of receipt nor can an award that is lost, stolen, or damaged during shipment be replaced.
