Qualified elite athletes will be granted complimentary entry to the 2025 NYCRUNS Brooklyn Half Marathon and entrance to the elite corral if they meet the following standards:
- Non-Binary / Gender Non-Conforming: Between 1/1/2024 and 2/28/2025, you must have run a time below 1:20 in a half marathon.
- Women: Between 1/1/2024 and 2/28/2025, you must have run a time below 1:20 in a half marathon.
- Men: Between 1/1/2024 and 2/28/2025, you must have run a time below 1:10 in a half marathon.
The course must be certified, the results verifiable, and you must have run in the same gender division you are receiving the complimentary entry for.
You must compete as the same gender for which you received the complimentary entry for from the date of the race where your standard was reached through race day (referred to as “the qualifying period”).
In the event you did not register as the gender you are receiving the complimentary entry for at a race during the qualifying period, please supply a broader history indicating your history of competing as the gender you are receiving the complimentary entry for and why you ran a race during the qualifying period as another gender. Feel free to include any other details as well. NYCRUNS has sole discretion to determine if you qualify for complimentary entry in a specific gender division.
