NYCRUNS invites you to take part in the 2019 Central Park Half Marathon! The race, now in its sixth year, will take you on a wintry tour of Central Park's rolling hills and will provide an excellent opportunity to test your fitness going into the Spring season.
Along with the NYCRUNS Queens Half Marathon & the NYCRUNS Brooklyn Marathon & Half Marathon, the Central Park Half is part of the Triboro Challenge. If you like your bling and you want everyone to know how hardcore you are, run all three races and receive three awesome interlocking medals suitable for display. Check them out here.
The race begins on West Drive near 96th Street, completing two and a half loops of the park across 72nd Street and up Harlem Hill before finishing on the 102nd Street transverse.
Bag check and toilets will be provided. Water will be available on the course, and bagels, spreads, fresh fruit and more will make up the usual great NYCRUNS post race spread to greet you at the finish line. The giveaway for this race will be a tech t-shirt*. All finishers will receive a medal. Free finish line photos and video will be available on your results page within a week of the race.
*Sizes are guaranteed. In order to cut down on waste, we try not to overorder. If we don’t have your size at the race, email firstname.lastname@example.org within two days of the race and we’ll ship your shirt to you a few weeks later. Make sure to include the race name, your name, size and shipping address in the body of the email. Shipping to domestic US addresses only.
Pre-Race pickup will be Friday 2/22 from 1PM-7PM at Paragon Sports (867 Broadway) in Manhattan. Take the 456LNQRW to Union Square.
Race day pickup will be available in the festival about 1/4 mile from the starting line beginning at 7:00 AM and ending at at 8:30 AM.
Bib mailing is available for this race for participants registered by 1/28. You must choose this option when registering and the bib must be mailed to the address you choose then. Shipping to domestic US addresses only. The cost is $15.00.
Note: Shirts will not be mailed. They will be available for pickup before or after the race.

Awards will be given to the top three male and female runners overall. Age group awards will be awarded to the top three male and female runners in each of the following age groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 and over. Our awards policies are available here.

Details forthcoming, but this much is known - the 2019 InterClub Challenge is made up of the the NYCRUNS Central Park Half Marathon, the NYCRUNS Queens Half Marathon and the NYCRUNS Brooklyn Marathon & Half Marathon.
Take the C train to 102nd St. or the 6 train to 103rd St. and enter the park. Race HQ is located at the center of the 102nd St. transverse near the finish line. Please check MTA Trip Planner for up to date and detailed mass transit directions and Google Maps for driving directions. Parking is limited at all of our events, we strongly encourage you to use mass transit.
The standard no-refunds, no-deferrals, no-transfers policy applies, unless you are signed up for the NYCRUNS Membership Program. NYCRUNS members receive a 10% discount, race deferral rights, and other perks. Strollers or dogs are not allowed in NYCRUNS races and you may be disqualified if earbuds or headphones hinder your awareness.
