Partnership Valued at $150,000 Awarded to Threes Highlights NYCRUNS’ Local Business Initiative Designed to Connect Neighborhood Businesses With Over 25,000 Runners And Guests
Brooklyn-Based Brewery To Host Pre- And Post-Race Events
Brooklyn, New York (March 19, 2025) – Brooklyn-based Threes Brewing has been named an Official Partner of the 2025 NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon on Sunday, April 27, it was announced today by Steve Lastoe, CEO & Founder of NYCRUNS, the event’s owner and operator.

The new partnership with Threes is the centerpiece of the Brooklyn Experience Local Business Initiative, a NYCRUNS program designed to support small, Brooklyn-based businesses and the Brooklyn running community. Threes was chosen to receive the partnership valued at $150,000 from a larger group of worthy, small Brooklyn businesses. In addition to the official partnership with Threes, a dozen other Brooklyn-based small businesses will receive free promotional opportunities through a marketplace hub available to runners and their supporters.
Threes Brewing will be supporting runners throughout race week, including two events at their flagship Brooklyn brewhouse in Gowanus, just steps from the NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon Expo.
Race week festivities kick-off Thursday, April 24, with First Mile @ Threes. Runners picking up their race bibs and shirts at the Expo’s opening day can stop in for a taste of Brooklyn and a great deal when they show their bib.
On race day, Sunday, April 27, Threes will host the Official Post-Race Finisher Party – Last Mile @ Threes, where runners will celebrate their achievement with a complimentary Vliet Pilsner when showing their medal. Threes’ award-winning Vliet, recognized as New York State’s best pilsner, offers the perfect crisp, refreshing reward after completing the race through Brooklyn’s iconic neighborhoods.
