What Can I Expect as a Volunteer on Race Day?

Before the event you signed up for, you’ll receive an email with all the information you’ll need to know for race day, including transportation options, weather advisories, and where to check in when you arrive. Check-in times vary.

Volunteers may assist NYCRUNS staff in handing out shirts and other SWAG, filling hydration stations, helping runners check their bags and distribute post-finish amenities such as foods and fluids. Our Volunteer Coordinator will let you know where you’ll be assisting upon checking in.

Volunteers must wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes (waterproof also a plus!). Safety vests will be issued to you to wear over your clothes.
