Brooklyn, NYC (February 3, 2026) – The pre-race Expo for the NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon will be held at Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse from April 23-25, prior to race day on Sunday, April 26. Over 25,000 runners will take part in the event, which is the fastest-growing race in America.
“Moving the Brooklyn Experience Expo to the Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse allows us to focus even more on our mission to support small businesses in Brooklyn,” said Steve Lastoe, Founding CEO of NYCRUNS, the Brooklyn-based running organization that produces two dozen races annually. “We’re constantly looking for ways to connect our community to all that Brooklyn’s small businesses have to offer, from visiting a unique local shop on the way to the Expo to grabbing a meal at a cozy neighborhood restaurant afterward.”
Located at 73 West Street in Greenpoint, in the same neighborhood where the race starts, the NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon Expo at Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse will host over 80,000 running enthusiasts as they gear up for NYC’s hottest annual spring running event.
The three-day Expo is where runners will pick up their race bibs and official race shirt, check bags for pick up after the race, shop for official Brooklyn Experience gear, review course strategy, and engage with local businesses and event exhibitors. The hours for the Expo are as follows:
The NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon begins at McCarren Park, bordering two of Brooklyn’s hottest neighborhoods, Williamsburg and Greenpoint. The one-of-a-kind course winds around the East River waterfront under the historic Williamsburg, Manhattan, and Brooklyn Bridges, providing runners with eye popping views of the Manhattan skyline. From there, the route heads through downtown, up the historic concourses of Fulton Street and Flatbush Avenue past Grand Army Plaza, before a celebratory finish in Prospect Park.
Launched in 2011 as the NYCRUNS Brooklyn Marathon in Prospect Park with 262 finishers, the half marathon was added in 2018. The event became a standalone half marathon event in 2023. In 2025, an event record 24,603 runners finished the race, making it the third largest half marathon in the nation.
