Welcome to UnRushers Running Club New York City.
We run at a comfortable pace that is suitable for both beginners and seasoned runners. UnRusher Members come in every shape and speed and no one is ever left behind. We are a body positive exercise community, not a weight loss community.
Where: We usually run in Central Park, Riverside Park or along the Hudson River Path.
When: It’s a bit informal, and it might change from week to week depending on who is running. We try to run once on the weekends and/or an evening run during the week. We announce our runs in our Facebook Group and on Twitter, but if you prefer, we can send you the info via email.
Pace: Comfortable, slow and steady. Depending on the day this can be a little faster or a little slower. Our goal is to run together and enjoy each other’s company. If you feel that we run too fast, tell us to slow down, that’s why we are here. Really.
We are working on having two pace groups, one with more walk breaks and a second one at a slightly faster pace with fewer or no walk breaks. This pace group is still UnRusher style with a comfortable pace.
