However, inclement weather conditions such as active snowfall, lightning, excessive heat, or below freezing temperatures may result in cancellation or a later start time. Should this be the case, you will be alerted prior to the race via email, as well as through information shared on NYCRUNS social media platforms and our website. In the case of a change in race status on site (see Emergency Alert System), race officials will provide direction to runners.
