The Walk the Talk event returns to New York City’s Central Park on Sunday, September 17th, the day before the United Nations General Assembly. The World Health Organization (WHO) is joining with its United Nations family, the City of New York, and partners to celebrate the importance of healthy lifestyles.
New York City’s second edition of the Walk the Talk: The Health for All Challenge, and the first since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, gives New Yorkers an opportunity to gather safely and to promote solidarity and a healthy lifestyle.
Though there is no zero risk when it comes to any kind of gathering – especially events that bring together groups of people from all over the world – we can take steps to limit our risk.
