Start Volunteers will assist NYCRUNS staff with various roles at the Start area for the NYCRUNS Brooklyn Half Marathon.

On race day, volunteer check-in opens at 4 AM.

Once checked in, you'll be asked to assist with marshalling athletes from public transportation/ various drop off points to the Start area, directing athletes into their corrals, managing crowds and spectators near the Start, or providing support at the pre-race fluid station.

You will receive $100 race credit within 5 days of your shift. Race credit expires on Dec. 31, 2023 and may be used to pay for up to 50% or $40 (whichever is greater) of any NYCRUNS-owned race registration.
