T.E.A.L.® 5K Run For Ovarian Cancer

This event raises money for Ovarian Cancer research and awareness programs. September is National Ovarian Cancer awareness month and teal is the color that
symbolizes Ovarian Cancer.
There are also fun activities for the whole family. Entertainment, face painting, stage program, survivor ceremony, prizes and educational booths. There are awards for the top runners! Don’t forget to stay after the 5K run to receive your award on stage and at the registration booths.
FEES AND DEADLINES:
Early Registration is $30, through July 14, 2017
Late Registration is $35, through September 4, 2017
Online Registration closes on September 4, 2017
If the race does not sell out, you may be able register in person on race day for $40. You are strongly encouraged to pre-register online.
The 5K race starts on the Prospect Park roadway by the Bartel-Pritchard parking area at 15th street and consists of a single loop of Prospect Park finishing by 9th street.
Bag check and toilets will be provided. Participants will receive a cotton t-shirt. Water will be available on the course at approximately 1.5 miles. Additional refreshments will be available at the bandshell.
Bibs and shirts will be available starting at 8:00AM at the Prospect Park Bandshell located in the Park between 9th and 11th street.
The overall top 3 female and male runners will receive a medal on stage. All other top runners in each age group (male & female) will receive a medal at the Run pre-registration booth starting at approximately 10:00AM. Age groups are as follows: 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 7- and over.
Take F or G train to 7th Avenue or 15 Street Prospect Park, the B or Q to 7th Avenue or the 2 or 3 to Grand Army Plaza and walk to Prospect Park – T.E.A.L. cheerleaders will be at the entrances to the Park to give you additional directions.
8:00am – Registration Check in opens for all runners and walkers wishing to check in early, Team Photos, Educational Booths Open
9:00am – Run Kick Off
10:00am – Stage Activities Begin including Run Award Ceremony and Survivor Ceremony
10:15am – Survivor Ceremony
11:00am – Walk Kick Off
11:30am – Finish Line Festivities Begin
