Prospect Park Track Club Turkey Trot

One of Brooklyn’s most popular races, this spectacular 5-miler is the perfect way to kick off your holiday season! The early start time guarantees you’ll make it home for turkey.
Walkers are welcome, but due to liability reasons we cannot allow strollers or pets.
New for 2017: We will be offering Charity Bibs as part of the PPTC Grants Program for the first time ever, see details below!

Founded over 45 years ago, Prospect Park Track Club is Brooklyn’s largest and most active running club, with a membership that extends well beyond the neighborhoods surrounding Prospect Park. PPTC welcomes runners of all levels and puts on popular local races throughout the year. Join PPTC now and save 10% on the Turkey Trot.
You’ll start on Center Drive near East Drive. When you finish near the Lakeside Center, one of our local heroes will place a medal around your neck.
Bag check and toilets will be provided. The giveaway for this race will be a great winter hat and all finishers will receive a medal. Water will be available on the course, and bagels, spreads, fresh fruit, and hot chocolate will make up a great post race spread to greet you at the finish line.
Race day packet pickup will be available at the Lefrak Center At Lakeside off the East Drive beginning at 7:00 AM and ending at at 8:30 AM.

New for 2017: Charity Bibs We anticipate this race selling out in mid-October, but for the first time ever we will be also offering 100 additional entries to the race at $100 each. These extra 100 bibs will go on sale when our main registration sells out and will be the final opportunity to register. Every penny received from the sale of these bibs will go to CHiPS, a wonderful local community organization which provides food and shelter to those in need.
If you’re fast enough to place in the top three, you’ll also receive one of our famous holiday pies!
The closest subway is the Q at Prospect Park. The B12, B16, B41, and B43 buses work well.
