NYCRUNS Building Brooklyn 5K Run/Walk

EVENT BEGINS - 5:00 PM | 5K Start - 7:00 PM
Prospect Park
Brooklyn, NY
5K

THE RACE

The NYCRUNS Building Brooklyn 5K is back in Prospect Park this summer! This is an excellent team building event and an absolute steal for NYCRUNS members who want to solo it at a cool $25.00.

You don't need to be attached to a team to join this lively evening run in the heart of Brooklyn, but if you are part of an organization that wants to bring people together in a fresh way, this a fantastic opportunity to partake in a little friendly competition. Celebrate being a part of a collaborative team—outside the office—as you work up a sweat and cheer each other on through the finish. Whether it’s your first or fiftieth 5K, this team-focused event is one you’ll remember.

So, come with colleagues, community comrades, your running club, friends, family members, or simply add this NYCRUNS race to your cart so you can clock another 5K.

A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the Prospect Park Alliance.

PARTNERSHIP

Building Brooklyn is not only an event, but a local business program designed for area businesses to boost brand visibility and engagement through the NYCRUNS Brooklyn Half Marathon and NYCRUNS ecosystem.

The NYCRUNS Brooklyn Half Marathon is our flagship race and one of the largest road races in the country. Local business partners will have the opportunity to reach as many as 25,000 athletes this year as well as many more spectators as the race proceeds from North Brooklyn to Prospect Park.

For partnership opportunities at either race, please email partnerships@nycruns.com.

BENEFITING THE PROSPECT PARK ALLIANCE

Prospect Park Alliance is the non-profit organization that sustains “Brooklyn’s Backyard,” working in partnership with the City of New York. The Alliance was founded in 1987 to help restore Prospect Park after a long period of deterioration and decline. Today, the Alliance provides critical staff and resources that keep the park green and vibrant for the diverse communities that call Brooklyn home.
