NYCRUNS Brooklyn Marathon

The Brooklyn Marathon is yet another step in the journey to the world’s center stage that Brooklyn has taken in recent decades. Now in it’s 7th year, this race has continued to annually sell out, been lauded as “Marathon Of The Year” and attracted runners from all over the planet. We think of it as the best little big city race in America.
CAMBA is the official non-profit partner of the 2017 Brooklyn Marathon.
CAMBA is a non-profit agency that provides services that connect people with opportunities to enhance their quality of life. CAMBA reaches more than 45,000 individuals and families each year, including 10,000 youth. They serve a diverse cross section of New Yorkers from new mothers in Brownsville to job seekers in the Rockaways.
The USATF-Certified, Boston Qualifying marathon will comprise 6 full loops and 3 lower loops of the park.
A great long sleeve race shirt and an amazing finisher medal will be included. Bag check and toilets will be provided. Clif Bar products, hot chocolate, bagels, spreads, and fresh fruit will make up the usual great NYCRUNS post race spread.
Pre-race packet pickup TBD. Race day packet pickup will be available starting at 7:00 AM by the start/finish area in Prospect Park.
Bib mailing is available for this race for participants registered by 10/27. You must choose this option when registering and the bib must be mailed to the address you choose then. Shipping to domestic US addresses only. The cost is $15.00. Note: Shirts will not be mailed. They will be available for pickup before or after the race.
The chart below applies until there are 30 race entries left. At that point, the price jumps to $250. $150. of that cost is a tax deductible donation to CAMBA, our charity partner. CAMBA is a non-profit agency that provides services that connect people with opportunities to enhance their quality of life.

NYCRUNS members receive a 10% discount, race deferral rights, and other perks.
Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers as well as the top three male and female finishers in each of the following age groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 and over.
Prize money distribution to top finishers is TBD.

Take the F/G to 15th St Prospect Park or the Q to Prospect Park. Please check MTA Trip Planner for up to date and detailed mass transit directions and Google Maps for driving directions. Parking is limited at all of our events, we strongly encourage you to use mass transit.
This race is currently capped at 500 runners and the official time limit is 6 hours.The standard no-refunds, no-deferrals, no-transfers policy applies, unless you are signed up for the NYCRUNS Membership Program. NYCRUNS members receive a 10% discount, race deferral rights, and other perks.
