NYCRUNS invites you to take part in the 2020 Central Park Half Marathon, the first race in the 2020 Triboro Challenge! The race, now in its eighth year, will take you on a wintry tour of Central Park's rolling hills and provide an excellent opportunity to test your fitness going into the Spring season.
THE TRIBORO CHALLENGE
You like your bling and you want everyone to know how hardcore you are? Then run either the NYCRUNS Brooklyn Marathon or Brooklyn Half Marathon, the NYCRUNS Queens Half Marathon, and either the NYCRUNS Central Park Half Marathon or the NYCRUNS Big Apple Half Marathon and in addition to the great medals we give out for each race, receive an additional medal not to be believed!
The race begins on West Drive near 96th Street, completing two and a half loops of the park across 72nd Street and up Harlem Hill before finishing on the 102nd Street transverse.
Bag check and toilets will be provided. If you plan on checking a bag, you must use the single clear bag provided by NYCRUNS at Packet Pickup or Bag Check. You may not put another full bag/backpack/briefcase inside the clear bag. All items must fit inside the clear bag. NYCRUNS reserves the right to search your bag at any time.
Water and Gatorade will be available on the course, and hot cocoa (unless it's over 50 degrees), bagels, spreads, fresh fruit and more will make up the usual great NYCRUNS post race spread to greet you at the finish line. The giveaway for this race will be a great long sleeve tech t-shirt*. All finishers will receive a medal.
