The Falling Leaves Half Marathon returns to Flushing Meadows Park. The traffic-free course winds through the park, with great views of all the World's Fair sites and of course FMP with full fall foliage in effect. Afterwards, head into downtown flushing to sample the great ethnic cuisine - there's everything you can imagine (and perhaps a few things you cannot).
Feel like doing this one independently? You may also choose the virtual option.
Please be aware that due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all aspects of this race are extremely subject to change. Please see the information below on COVID-19 precautions and restrictions.
We hit all the famous landmarks and some parts of FMP you may never have seen before.

Virtual races have been around for a few years at least and come in all shapes and sizes. Largely though, they are designed so that you can do the race you want, when you want.
You can run or walk anywhere you want, including a treadmill. You can track your miles any way you want and with any device you want. For this race, you must run your race and submit your result by December 31, 2021.
Once you've run, you'll submit your miles through our new Run This One results system which is accessible to registered runners via their dashboard. You can automatically sync via MapMyRun and Garmin Connect, or you can add runs manually of course.
Most importantly, have fun.
