NYCRUNS members gain access to valuable benefits including race insurance, home delivery of race bibs, discounts of up to 50% on NYCRUNS races, prize money eligibility, and a membership community that gives back. Membership costs just $50 per year.
NYCRUNS members can withdraw from two (2) NYCRUNS races per membership year for any reason, no questions asked. You must withdraw no later than ten days before the race you wish to withdraw from. You will receive race credit equivalent to the registration fee you paid for the race you are withdrawing from. Race credit may be used to pay for up to 50% or $40 (whichever is greater) for any race. Race credit must be used within 6 months but may be used for any race on sale at the time.
If you’re sick or hurt and unable to run your race (and have used up your Any Reason withdrawals for your membership year) you can access a medical withdrawal. You will receive race credit equivalent to the registration fee you paid for the race you are withdrawing from. To receive a NYCRUNS member medical withdrawal, you will have to provide a letter from an accredited doctor no later than the Thursday before the race. Race credit may be used to pay for up to 50% or $40 (whichever is greater) for any race. Race credit must be used within 6 months but may be used for any race on sale at the time.
In the rare event that a NYCRUNS race that you are registered in is canceled due to weather or other extreme factors, you can request race credit for the full event fee paid. Members will be able to select from the full NYCRUNS event schedule (with very limited exceptions) using 100% of the race credit from the canceled race. Race credit must be used within 6 months but may be used for any race on sale at the time.
All NYCRUNS members will receive their race bibs in the mail for every race they run (with limited exceptions, notably Brooklyn). The bib will be sent to the address designated on your account, 30 days before the race. Please note that NYCRUNS members with an international address will not receive their race bibs in the mail.
Every race is discounted for NYCRUNS members across three tiers of savings: 50%, 25%, and 10%.

Whether you’re going for a PR or just cruising in the back of the pack, NYCRUNS members always win their race. The NYCRUNS Mileage Club makes miles run the goal. We have three (3) tiers of achievement: 50 miles, 75 miles, and 100 miles. Members earn cool swag for each milestone achieved within their membership year (earned swag can be picked up at a future race at the Solutions tent).
NYCRUNS members who run fast can cash in with free races if you meet qualifying times and members-only prize money for top finishers.
A portion of every NYCRUNS membership fee will go towards providing free race entries to community groups focused on the transformative power of running.
Membership benefits are per account and apply to the account holder and any minor children on the account. You must maintain your membership to maintain accrued benefits. Your membership will automatically renew each year unless you opt out in your Dashboard. Membership is good for a year (365 days) from the date of sign up.
